Credit Card Humor
Do you remember your first credit card? I do.
I also remember the first bill. It said I owed $0.00.
Since I had not yet made any purchases, I knew the amount to be true. Therefore, I ignored the bill and threw it away.
The next month I had still not used the card, and so when I received another bill for $0.00 I threw that one away too.
But the following month the credit card company sent me a very nasty note saying they were going to cancel my card if I didn’t send them $0.00.
A man had his credit card stolen.
He however decided not to report it because the thief was spending less than his wife did.
I was signing the receipt for my credit card purchase when the clerk noticed that I had never signed my name on the back of the credit card.
She informed me that she could not complete the transaction unless the card was signed.
When I asked why, she explained that it was necessary to compare the signature on the credit card with the signature I just signed on the receipt.
So I signed the credit card in front of her.
She carefully compared that signature to the one I signed on the receipt.
As luck would have it, they matched!!
