Jaswinder Singh Bedi (Ritesh Deshmukh), a regular Joe, from Punjab lands in US of A with umpteen dream of making it big. But little does he know that the greener pastures he's looking for, are not so green after all.
On his way to becoming Jimmy from Jaswinder, he meets oohh-so-hot Sally (Brande Roderick), who wants to marry him. Jaswinder obliges in order to get his work permit. Just when everything seemed hunky dory, comes a call from Jatta Singh Bedi (Amrish Puri), the father of the groom.
But Bedi senior has some different plans. He has chosen the desi lass Richa (Hrishitaa Bhatt) for his son and there is no way Jaswinder can refute his decision. Torn between the two wives, his biggest nightmare comes to life. What happens next?
Producer Vashu Bhagnani has left no stone unturned to promote his lavish project, be it Passport format press kit or mid air music launch. This comic riot is directed by the debutante duo, Ramanjit Juneja and Apurva Asarani with music by Anand Raj Anand and lyrics by Dev Kohli.
