India’s largest production company, Yash Raj Films is ready with his next movie after Bunty
Aur Babli ‘Salaam Namaste ‘. Feel good flicks from the house of Chopras keep coming up with
amazing regularity. Now get ready for yet another entertaining outing this August with ‘Salaam
Namaste’, a quickie shot by debutant director Siddharth Anand. Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta ’s
fourth movie together.
Salaam Namaste, is a romantic comedy set in Australia. Salaam Namaste is the first Indian film
to be fully shot in Australia, using various locations in Melbourne and regional Victoria,
including the Great Ocean Road. Starring India’s equivalents of Julia Roberts (Preity Zinta)
and Brad Pitt (Saif Ali Khan), it is expected to reach a global audience of about 300 million
when it’s released on the big screen in August. This time they startled the audience who had
come in to watch Bunty Aur Babli by showcasing the teaser of their next under-production flick
Salaam Namaste in the very start. The teaser shows the lead pair of the film Saif Ali Khan and
Preity Zinta walking hand-in-pockets on Australian beaches and streets. This one seems like a
romantic comedy and has a fresh visual feel to it.
STORY
The movie is all about two Indians who have left their houses to make a life on their own in
Australia, and how they meet and how they tackle their own relationships and problems and
overcome them themselves without their families. It’s a slice of that couple’s life in that
one year they spend together.
In the movie Saif playing a character named Nikhil Arora who is called Nick because he is
living in Melbourne. His character in the movie is “cool, strong, modern, and a smart Alec.”
And bubbly girl Preity Zinta is also has a very strong chracter in the movie.The film also
has comedian Arshad Warsi in a pivotal role. Aussie stunner Tania Zaetta plays Arshad’s firang
girlfriend. Salaam Namaste will contain five songs, including the title sequence. The biggest
scene so far involved 60 dancers on Rye beach, on the Mornington Peninsula.
Salaam Namaste gives us a quirky take on life, love and relationships as it looks at a fairy tale with a bit of a squint. Full of color, humor and zest it is an endearing look at what being in love really means!!!

Salaam Namaste will be releasing in August this year.
