Side Dishes : Vegetarian
Tadke Wale Aloo
INGREDIENTS :
Potatoes - 6
boiled & cubed Onions - 2
Sliced Tomatoes - 2
Cube Green Chillies - 2
Red Chillies - 2
Chilly powder - 1 tbsp.
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp.
Channa Dal - 1 tbsp.
Soaked Udatdal - 1 tbsp.
Soaked Curry leaves - 10-12
Mustard Seeds - 1 tbsp.
Hinge according to taste
Dhania powder - 1 tbsp.
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp.
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp.
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp
METHOD :
Heat oil in pan, add hinge, mustard seeds, curry leaves, red chilies, green chillies & fry it. Add channa dal and udat dal. Fry it till brown.
Later add onions & fry till 2 minutes. Now add tomatoes.
Simultaneously prepare paste of ginger garlic, dhania powder, turmeric powder, chilly powder and little water. Mix properly.
Add this mixture in frying pan (kadai). Mix properly add potatoes and mix it properly, add salt to taste. Cover the frying pan with lid and cook it till 7 - 10 minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with parathas.
